Fire Aspect planning notes
Fire Aspect adds burning damage and can cook some drops, but it also changes combat behavior. That makes it a preference enchantment rather than a universal requirement. It should be tested after the core weapon route is safe, especially on a sword that already has valuable damage and Looting books.
When it is worth using
Use Fire Aspect when burning targets helps the weapon's role, when cooked drops are convenient, or when damage over time is welcome. It can be less attractive for enderman fights, some farms, or situations where fire makes control harder.
Tradeoffs and conflicts
Fire Aspect does not conflict with the main sword damage books, but it can still push a route higher if added late. It can also be a gameplay drawback even when the anvil accepts it.

Enter the weapon without Fire Aspect first, then add Fire Aspect as an optional book and compare the final cost. If it makes the route risky, skip it rather than rebuilding the whole sword.
