Attribution and notices

Credits

Minecraft Enchantment Tool uses original site copy and implementation along with third-party source material for catalog data and item artwork. This page summarizes those credits in public-facing language.

Source data attribution

The catalog data used by this site is derived from the iamcal enchant-order project. That source helped seed item and enchantment data for the planning experience.

The data has been adapted into this site's own TypeScript catalog files so pages and calculator features can use a consistent local structure.

Item asset attribution

GIF item assets shown by the tool are also derived from the iamcal enchant-order project. They are used to make item choices easier to recognize while planning a build.

Public credits intentionally describe the upstream project and license rather than exposing a maintainer's local filesystem path.

License summary

The iamcal enchant-order source material is MIT licensed. The notice identifies Copyright (c) 2021 Cal Henderson.

In plain terms, the MIT license allows use, copying, modification, distribution, and sublicensing when the copyright and permission notice are included with substantial portions of the software. The license also states that the software is provided without warranty.

This summary is not a replacement for the full license text in the repository's third-party notices.
