Minecraft Enchantment Tool is a planning aid, not an official game manual. Use it to compare likely anvil orders, then verify important results in the Minecraft edition and world where you plan to spend levels.

Minecraft names and mechanics are referenced only to describe game behavior for players. All official product, account, purchase, and support matters should be handled through official Mojang Studios or Microsoft channels.
The calculator uses known enchantment compatibility, maximum level, item, anvil cost, and prior work rules to suggest a practical order. It may not cover every edge case, temporary game change, older version, experimental feature, or custom server rule.
Results can differ when an item already has hidden history, when books were combined elsewhere, when a server changes anvil behavior, or when a mod, datapack, plugin, snapshot, preview, or beta changes mechanics.
Java Edition, Bedrock Edition, snapshots, previews, older releases, and multiplayer servers can behave differently. A plan that is accurate in one environment may need adjustment in another.
Before using rare books, expensive items, or a large amount of experience, test the order in the actual game environment, a backup world, or a creative-mode copy of the item.
