Privacy and data use

Privacy Policy

This policy covers how the Minecraft Enchantment Tool handles your data. It's a public, browser-based planning tool - you don't need an account to use the calculator.

Server logs and analytics

Like almost every website, our hosting and security systems generate server logs when you load a page. These logs typically include things like the time of the request, the page URL, your IP address, browser info, referral source, and any error messages. We use them to keep the site running, troubleshoot issues, and block abuse.

If we have analytics enabled, they help us see overall traffic patterns and catch technical problems. We don't collect your name, email, account info, or any saved build details through analytics.

Local saved builds, share links, and local storage

Any builds you save are stored right in your browser's local storage - on your own device. That includes build names, items, enchantments, options, and timestamps. We do this so you can come back to your plans later without needing to log in.

Share links encode build data into the URL, so anyone with that link can see the same plan. That means you shouldn't put personal info in build names or notes, because anyone you send the link to could read it.

You can delete saved builds any time using the site's controls if available, by clearing your browser's storage for this site, or by using private/incognito mode, which clears everything when you close the window.

Cookies, Google ads, and third-party identifiers

The calculator itself doesn't need cookies - there's no login. But cookies or similar storage might still be used by our hosting, security, analytics, or ad systems if those are turned on.

We may show Google ads. Google and its partners may use cookies, device signals, or ad identifiers to show, limit, and measure ads, subject to your consent choices where the law requires.

Our ad and analytics providers have their own privacy policies. Their tools may use third-party identifiers to count visits, fight fraud, or personalize ads when allowed.

Consent, opt-out options, and contact

Where consent is needed, we'll present you with choices before using optional advertising or analytics storage. You can also use your browser's privacy settings, private browsing, cookie controls, or device ad settings to limit tracking.

Google offers ad controls and opt-out tools through My Ad Center and other privacy resources. Your browser maker probably has additional settings for cookies, local storage, and tracking protection.

If you have any privacy-related questions or requests, just email us at contact@minecraftenchantment.com. Please include the page or feature you're asking about, your browser and device info if relevant, and what kind of data you're concerned about. That helps us give you a clearer answer.
